Once I started paying attention to the clear signs my body was sending me, I identified the foods triggering acne flare-ups, zapping my energy, and preventing me and my brain from reaching peak performance and my highest potential. Personalized nutrition allowed me to discover which foods deeply nourished my skin, body, and brain. By embracing healthy eating for acne, I began consuming more nutrient-dense, fresh foods that I loved and that made me feel good. My skin regained its healthy glow, I lost the belly fat I thought I'd never shed, and, most importantly, I finally felt smart, confident, capable, and intelligent. Eating healthy was not just about my body or my skin; when I personalized my nutrition and enjoyed the fresh foods my body craved, I nourished my brain on a much deeper level. I went from struggling in high school to graduating with honors and earning two academic scholarships, enrolling in my dream science university, and starting my business (this one).
